Gonna be completely honest here..... I don't rate Amsterdam that much.
The centre is really small, the booze is super expensive and all the bars are tiny and crampt, and 99% of people are tourists.
Don't think it really lives up to it's reputation of being this hive of degeneracy and hedonism either. It's just people smoking weed and the odd brass looking bored in a window ain't it?

Ill never forget my first trip when I was 17 and we accidently went in a gay cinema. I led the way into the darkness only to come face to face with an old man wanking off a black fella. Cue me turning round and legging it with five of us falling over each other to get out the door. It was only when we got half way down the road that they managed to find out from me why I'd legged it
